The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will become a part of the labyrinth identity of foreign policy

Dr. Mojtaba Maghsoudi

in an Interview with the Iranian journal of international relations.

Dr. Mojtaba Maghsoudi, university professor of political sciences, Azad university and  the head of Iranian peace studies scientific association  in an Interview with the Iranian journal of international relations about the future of JCPOA destiny at the end of the thirteenth government stated that the experience of more than two decades in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has shown that  the executive power in the foreign policy process is mostly a passive actor in governance decisions...

And does not have serious maneuvering power, Therefore, with the departure or arrival of governments, significant changes based on the volition of the nation are not waiting for the foreign policy of the country to expect very different changes now.

Dr. Mojtaba Maghsoudi about the future of JCPOA destiny at the end of the thirteenth government stated that it seems that In connection with JCPOA the general decision of the system will be focused on Crooked and brittle continuing. In fact, it will continue with pushing back and stepping forward, In this regard, it can be claimed, like all the problems, issues and national calamities in this country such as costly, mismanagement, inflation, political-economic corruption, rent economy, etc., It seems that there is no end to them And its case will not be closed, JCPOA like a bone between wounds will remain in the foreign policy process of the country and will become part of the labyrinth identity of foreign policy of the country. This university professor and researcher on political issues further acknowledged about the possible future negotiating team that, all over the world Proficiency, Cleverness and negotiation techniques are considered by diplomats as an important factor in the foreign policy of countries, However, in the Islamic Republic of Iran, this issue does not have a central position and is not in the priority of the agents of the system and in this regard, it can be argued that Professional competence and capability has no weight in political equations and power structures. Also in Dr. Maghsoudi attitude, thankless and labeling that has become part of political culture in contemporary history and basically the fate of the negotiators in the field of peace and reconciliation will be accompanied by historical slander and libel, Unlike the warlords and arsonists who sit at the top and are appreciated.

Dr. Maghsoudi concluded by acknowledging that, clearly unlike the first round of negotiations about the JCPOA on the Obama administration, the weight of the negotiating team and the diplomatic apparatus is greatly reduced and will not have a serious impact on the system's decision on how to interact with the negotiating parties and at this stage, the negotiating team will be mostly the executor of the orders and prohibitions of key decision makers and policy makers of the system and the initiative and skill of the negotiators will be on the sidelines.
